Quick note on acceptance letters

Welcome to The Otherworld! We are a biannual publication run by two friends and folklore & fairy tale nerds, Jess and Steph. This is a place to walk through stories and tales across time, continents, and cultures through flash fiction, art, poetry, and essays. Thanks for joining us!
Hello, dear readers, Steph here. Jess and I have been busy going through all 58 of your wonderful submissions, composing and sending emails, and oohing and aaahing over your talent. And we’ve had a bit of a setback.
I’m going to be honest here: between parenting, work, and life responsibilities, I wasn’t able to finish sending out emails by our March 16th deadline.
The new plan is to reply to everyone by the end of this week, March 20th. For those whose work is accepted, I will send your payments by then, too.
We well know the sometimes frustrating anticipation of waiting to hear back on a piece you’ve poured your time and heart into! Jess and I both appreciate your understanding in this. So if you’ve yet to hear from us, know we are doing our best to respond as soon as possible.
